Responsible gaming

Play should never control your money, time or decisions.

Use clear limits before starting. Stop when the limit is reached and take a complete break when play begins affecting daily life.

Set limits before play

  • Choose a fixed time limit.
  • Choose a fixed spending limit.
  • Keep essential money completely separate.
  • Do not borrow money for play.
  • Do not increase the limit after a loss.

Money that should never be used

Rent, food, medicine, education, loan payments, utility bills, emergency savings and money belonging to another person should remain outside any game budget.

Warning signs

  • Trying to recover losses by increasing the amount.
  • Hiding spending from family.
  • Playing during work, study or sleep time.
  • Borrowing or selling something to continue.
  • Feeling angry, anxious or unable to stop.
  • Believing the next result is guaranteed to correct the previous one.
A past result does not make the next result certain. Stop when you notice chasing, secrecy, borrowing or loss of control.

Take a complete break

Log out, remove saved payment methods, uninstall the app if necessary and ask a trusted person to help you keep the break. Replace play time with a planned activity rather than leaving the time empty.

Age and local rules

Only adults who meet the age requirement should participate. Rules differ by location, so check the requirements that apply where you live before opening or funding an account.
